Sunday School
“Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” It seems like a simple question. Maybe someone who keeps the law? Someone who gives a lot to church? Meanwhile, Jesus called a child over and told us: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” His love for them was great and hid the key to the kingdom of heaven in their hearts.
As we see His love for little ones in the Gospels, we want to serve and love your children as Jesus did-with love, respect, and Word of God.
Children leave worship for Sunday School after the offering and meet until 11:15 am.
Tuesday Quilt Group
We have a group of diligent workers who quilt every Tuesday morning at 9:30am. We makes 40-50 hand stitched quilts each year and send them to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Children with life-threatening conditions and illness can their quilt home to help them remember the amazing experiences they had at Camp. We sell quilts to support our church community outreach ministry.
Please join us for some quilting and great time of fellowship over some light refreshments. The group is open to all levels of quilting; even those who have never sewn before.
TRANSITION DINNER
We meet every last Wednesday of the month at Colony Diner in Walilngford, CT at 5:30pm. The diner originally began to support and minister to those who are going through grieving stages from the loss of their loved ones or tragic events in their lives. However, we also enjoy our new and old friendship. We welcome new comers who are seeking to make new friends and to have great time together.
